Bridgewater High School is a coeducational secondary school for pupils aged 11 to 16, located over two sites in Appleton, Warrington, Cheshire.
As part of the project, the teaching facilities at the upper site were expanded through the creation of additional new classrooms in line with the curriculum model. This was in order to allow the site to accommodate the year 9 pupils who will no longer be taught at the lower school site.
All works were carried out while the school was fully occupied, and close liaison was required with the client and design team to ensure works were suitably phased to avoid disruption.
