Neil founded NECO in 2016 with fellow Director Colin Ashley after two decades working for large Liverpool based M&E consultancies. Responsible for the day to day running of the business, Neil has vast experience delivering projects of all shapes and sizes.
Colin Ashley – Director
Colin founded NECO in 2016 with fellow Director Neil Seasman after almost 20 years of working in the construction industry – both on site and in the office. Colin is a time-served electrician and has the ability to offer invaluable practical solutions once a project reaches site.
Paul Guyers – Director
Paul joined NECO in late 2016 after working for both national and regional M&E practices. The immediate past Chair of the CIBSE Merseyside & North Wales region, Paul has a keen interest in the development of the next generation of M&E engineers.
Chris Powell – Project Engineer
Chris is a highly respected and experienced Project Engineer. Well versed in all areas of mechanical and electrical design, he has a keen focus on healthcare projects – both large scale new build and refurbishment schemes. Chris brings 40 years of construction industry experience to the business.
Peter Wilson – Project Engineer
Pete has almost 20 years of construction industry experience. Originally cutting his teeth as a plumber on site, Pete has been an office based engineer for almost a decade – with a focus on all aspects of mechanical design, particularly on healthcare and educational schemes.
Michael Prendergast – Project Engineer
Michael is entering his 5th year at NECO and is responsible for running a wide variety of projects in addition to supporting senior colleagues. He is currently studying a Degree Apprenticeship in Building Services Engineering at Liverpool John Moores University.
Carl Povey – Project Engineer
NECO’s newest recruit, Carl has over 20 years of design experience working for both regional and national M&E consultancies. Predominantly focusing on mechanical design, Carl is well versed in numerous sectors.
Liam Gaskell – Project Engineer
Liam joined NECO in early 2024, after almost 10 years working as an electrician on a wide variety of projects for a local contractor. This practical knowledge influences Liam’s electrical designs and helps assist colleagues understand the latest on site installation methods.
Finley Fletcher– Junior Engineer
Fin is busy learning the ropes of the M&E industry, always displaying a keen enthusiasm for any task he is set. He is currently studying for a BTEC Level 4 in Building Services Engineering at the City of Liverpool College.
