Ingol Health Centre is located in Preston and provides a wide range of health services to the local area.
We were employed by NHS Property Services Ltd to carry out the detailed design of the mechanical and electrical services for the full refurbishment of the existing Health Centre – converting existing rooms into both new Non-Clinical Rooms and new Clinical Consulting/Treatment Rooms. The client was keenly focussed on decarbonising the building and as such all existing gas fired plant was replaced with renewable alternatives, which included an air source heat pump providing domestic hot water.
NECO provided design for general and emergency lighting, small power and data, heating, water, ventilation and air conditioning for the scheme.
