NECO Services Design were employed by Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council to design the M&E services to the refurbished Multi Storey Car Park in Kirkby.
Using funding secured from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority the car park was transformed from a dilapidated 1960s car park into a modern, sustainable travel hub with the goal of making it easier for people to visit and work in Kirkby.
Work included a complete overhaul of all eight levels, providing long stay, short stay, and accessible bays, electric charging points, cycle storage, CCTV and sensor controlled lighting.
